Exerbotics, a US commercial strength equipment manufacturer, designed the Shoulder Press / Pulldown (eSP) to be simple to use, allowing for consistent and repeatable testing and training. The boimechanic designs of our equipment result in a safe and comfortable experience for the user. Two exercises (pushing and pulling) with multiple grip options provide a space efficient solution for your strength needs.
The eSP does not have any manual adjustments virtually eliminating set-up time or improper positioning. Entry and exit is easy with an oversized seat and limited structural obstructions.
Range of Motion is computer controlled and force data collection make our products revolutionary in documenting and evaluating concentric and eccentric strength curves.
What We Love About the Shoulder Press / Pulldown |
I’ll be honest, a shoulder press has never been my favorite movement. It requires smaller muscles that fatigue quickly so I never felt like I was accomplishing as much as a more angled press. That’s probably more vanity than anything else! The Shoulder Press is vitally important in strengthening the shoulder complex however and is often overlooked.
The Pulldown, on the other hand, is a gateway to a pull-up and again is important relative to muscular balance in the body. Like the Chest Press / Row machine, this machine has wide grip and narrow grip options for both pushing and pulling. My favorite feature of this machine are really the simplicity. There are no adjustments required and the entry / exit is easy for everyone. Although people fatigue quickly on the Shoulder Press, the strength gains and muscle endurance comes quickly due to the accountability of the software.
The Shoulder Press / Pulldown feels natural and smooth and I like this as a compliment to the Chest Press / Row.
